Deck Slab (Table A4-1)
Check the reinforcement of an interior deck slab span on parallel girders. Live load moments come from AASHTO LRFD Table A4-1, interpolated for the girder spacing and the negative moment design section; dead load moments are w S²/C. Checks flexural strength, minimum steel, crack control, spacing, distribution and temperature steel. To size bars from a full strip analysis, including the overhang, use Bridge Deck Design.
